Overview
The 4ha site, originally owned by the Aboriginal Land Council, was never built on and was overrun by weeds. The hospital had been designed to maximise a green and peaceful outlook, as well to preserve forest vegetation and make habitats for two threatened species that had been found on the land.
Development
Construction of a new private hospital with 84 beds and 6 operating theatres providing high-end private surgery and treatment for people with cardio, vascular, spinal and orthopaedic needs. The hospital will include two levels of basement parking, physio areas, a hydrotherapy pool and pavilion-style buildings.

City Plan was engaged to provide access and BCA design and compliance advice and certification services for all stages of this development.
