When completed this development within the University of Wollongong campus will increase its student accommodation by a total of 1065 sold occupancy units. The units will be housed within four new 7 storey buildings.
There are 2 stages to this project.
Stage 1 – known as building 120, this stage will include the construction of a 7 storey building with 215 units, communal areas, parking and landscaping.
Stage 2 – known as buildings 73, 74, & 75, this stage will include construction of three new 7 storey buildings with a total of 850 units, communal areas multi use facilities & landscaping.
Both stages require the demolition of residential buildings recently acquired by the university.
City Plan Services has been engaged to provide BCA consulting throughout the Design & Development Application process along with PCA & Certification services for all stages of the project. The design of the building includes numerous performance solutions.
