Overview
Located on the banks of the Parramatta River, Riverside Theatres is nestled in the midst of the Church Street Restaurant precinct. The complex is a vibrant hub of Western Sydney with a myriad of community events all year round.
Development
Stage 1: Undertake an inspection of the site for the purpose of completing a BCA audit for the provision of BCA report including recommendations for fire safety upgrade works.
Stage 2: Completion of recommended fire safety upgrade works including:
- Fire wall modifications,
- Addition of railings and barriers
- Fire damper modifications
- Fire seals modifications
- Sprinkler coverage upgrades
- Smoke and heat vent upgrades
- Fire curtain upgrades
- Modifications to fire hydrants, hose reels and
extinguishers - Emergency lighting minor modifications.
Our Involvement
City Plan was engaged to undertake a BCA audit and provide recommendations for fire safety upgrades. Subsequently, we provided certification services for the upgrade works.
