Overview

The Carter Street Priority Precinct was an old industrial area rezoned in November 2015 by the NSW Government for up to 5,500 dwellings, village centre, primary school and open space. Ovation Quarter was a major transformative project within the Carter Street Priority Precinct adjacent Sydney Olympic Park.

Development

Stage one involved the construction of three (3) residential flat buildings containing 417 units, ground level retail uses and associated roads, civil infrastructure and a public park.

Stage two involves construction of a further three residential flat buildings containing 418 units, ground level shops, child care centre, public domain elements and associated roads, civil infrastructure and subdivision.

Our Involvement

City Plan was engaged at the inception of this project and provided strategic advice to YMCI on development opportunities and constraints. We engaged with the various Councils and other agencies involved in the project and prepared Statements of Environmental Effects for the 2 main stages and associated demolition, remediation, civil works and subdivision. There was extensive post-lodgement involvement with Council.
