Overview
Hayman Island Resort is located on a private island within the Whitsundays, in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Constructed in 3 wings, it offers 168 guest rooms, suites and villas, entwined with swimming pools and tropical landscaped gardens. There are also 2 double storey, 4 bedroom residences separate to the main buildings within the resort.
Development
After being seriously damaged by cyclones, the resort required an extensive renovation before it could reopen to the public. Work included the refurbishment of the guest rooms and villas, restaurants, bars and resort facilities.
Our Involvement
City Plan was engaged to undertake the role of private Certifier and provide Certification services for all stages of the project.
