Overview
The Department of Education and Communities plan to construct a new special needs school in the suburb of Glenmore Park, within Sydney’s western suburbs. This development will ensure there is sufficient educational infrastructure to accommodate this growing area of Sydney.
Development
The project involves the construction of a new school, incorporating several new buildings and structures and also a range of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities and spaces.
The new school will be able to accommodate approximately 128 special needs students.
Our Involvement
City Plan Strategy & Development were engaged to provide planning advice and the preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects to accompany a Crown Development Application to Penrith City Council.
