East End Newcastle is a mixed use development given its name from its sought after location within proximity to a number of retail shops, restaurants and cafes, the wharf, local parks and the beach at the Eastern End of Newcastle City. The development will progress in 4 stages across several city blocks.
Stage one comprises 3 towers (Fabric House, P&K and Washington House), each with its own distinct design and direction. Each building will provide ground level retail, carparking and residential apartments with basement carparking whilst retaining the heritage facades.
Mixed use development incorporating retail premises, shop top housing, car parking, associated works and demolition. Stage 1 will feature:
Building A – Construction of 11 storeys, 108 residential apartments with ground floor retail.
Building B – Conversion of existing 5 storey heritage building to incorporate 18 apartments.
Building C – Retention of existing heritage façade to the first 3 storeys, construction of 10 storeys, 57 apartments and ground floor retail.
Building D – Retention of existing heritage façade to the first 3 storeys, construction of 11 storeys, 47 apartments and ground floor retail.
Basement car park – two storeys incorporating 274 vehicle spaces.
Public domain – External hard and soft landscaping to the podium.
City Plan was engaged to provide certification services for all stages of the development including:

Excavation, shoring and footing works
Structure, fitout works
Display suite for marketing
BCA and Access Consultant reports
Heritage Specifications and Schedule of Conservation Works
