Overview
In addition to the heritage consultancy services for the Glebe Foreshore Project, City Plan Heritage has provided specialist heritage architect services for two buildings within the Foreshore Reserve, Bellevue Cottage & Jubilee Park Pavilion.
Development
The project aim for Bellevue Cottage was to restore it to its former condition & provide an opportunity for the future adaptive reuse of this heritage listed cottage of State significance as a new public building in the upgraded Glebe Foreshore Park.
Our Involvement
City Plan Heritage’s role in the project included the following works: Ongoing design advice, measured drawings, liaison with other consultants and the authorities, Conservation Management Plan, Heritage Impact Statements, Interpretation Strategy, Schedule of Conservation Works, Long Term Maintenance Plan, Archival Recordings (before, during & after), and Conservation Architect services to oversee the construction and implementation of both conservation works and the interpretation strategy.
