This Development Application was for the demolition of existing dwelling houses and the creation of a three storey town-house development consisting of 27 dwellings, basement level car parking and extensive landscaping works.


The approved development is for a vibrant multi dwelling housing community centre adjacent to educational facilities including Artarmon Public School. The design  of the development integrates generous communal open space, including a play area and a picnic garden. Each town house is designed to have access to a north-facing garden or terrace, enhanced by a comprehensive landscape setting. The development will provide additional housing diversity in proximity to major job centres, with comfortable walking distance to public transport.

Our Involvement

City Plan provided strategic planning advice and prepared a comprehensive Statement of Environmental Effects and Clause 4.6 variation request.

Services involved contributing to the development design, advising on technical reports to accompany the application, advising on submission requirements, liaising with the approval authority and presenting to Willoughby Local Planning Panel. City Plan was proud to work with Truslan & AJ+C Architects to gain approval for this development.
