Construction of a four storey mixed use development including ground floor retail and basement car parking.


The proposal was for the demolition of the existing structures on the site and the construction of a 4-storey shop-top housing development with retail premises at the ground floor and nine residential units located above. The proposal included two levels of basement car parking using a car shelving system and a communal terrace on the roof.

The project connects to another adjoining PBD Architects project.

Our Involvement

City Plan was responsible for providing strategic planning advice & preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects as well as a Clause 4.6 Height Variation Report (of 33%) to accompany a Development Application. The proposal was approved by the Council, subject to conditions.
