Over the past 7 years, City Plan has worked closely with Pathways Residences to gain approval for a boutique residential aged care facility. A site specific Planning Proposal was lodged with Lane Cove Council in 2016 to introduce seniors living as a permissible use on the site at Northwood Road, Lane Cove. In May 2020 the Planning Proposal was gazetted as part of the first tranche of DPIE’s Accelerated Assessment Project, in recognition of the significant need for high quality aged care facilities in northern Sydney.
City Plan subsequently prepared a development application for a mixed use development including ground floor retail and wellness services available to the local community and residents of the and 143 bed facility. Through the entirety of the project we have worked alongside a highly capable project team. We are truly ecstatic to announce the application was approved by the Sydney North Planning Panel on 21 April.
