Garry Fielding is a qualified town planner with over 40 years’ experience in state and local government and the private sector. He has worked at senior executive levels with the NSW Department of Planning and also as head planner with Newcastle, Woollahra, & Maitland Councils. Garry is a Life Fellow and former NSW President of the Planning Institute of Australia. He is the former Chair of the Hunter & Central Coast Joint Regional Planning Panel and is currently the Chair of the Hornsby Shire Local Planning Panel and Alternate Chair of The Hills Shire Local Planning Panel.

Garry offers extensive experience and expertise in strategic and statutory planning, due diligence and strategic development advice, and extensive skills in the preparation and assessment of major development proposals, environmental assessments and the provision of expert witness services in the Land & Environment Court.
