Our heritage team has recently been awarded two major projects with the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation, and Hawkesbury City Council.

The first project involves a review of the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation’s Section 170 Heritage Register, research, site investigations and the preparation of a Heritage Asset Management Strategy. The final result will assist the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation in the day to day management of their heritage assets.

The second project with Hawkesbury City Council involves the preparation of a Community-Based Heritage Study for the Hawkesbury local government area. The previous heritage study was completed in 1998 and therefore requires updating to ensure Council’s heritage management systems appropriately recognise the heritage of the area.

The heritage team is delighted to be working on these two exciting new projects.
