City Plan Strategy & Development strategic town planning advice and services for a development application for a major new ‘brownfield’ town centre development on site of the former Kirrawee Brick Pit.
The ($230mil) concept involves over 15,000 square metres of retail and commercial space, including 2 supermarkets, together with 432 apartments in a number of towers up to 14 storeys, and a major public park of 9,000 square metres.
City Plan Strategy and Development provided pre and post lodgement planning advice, liaised with the Department of Planning and Sutherland Council (including negotiating a VPA) and prepared the relevant planning documents including the Environmental Assessment Report, preferred project report and statement of commitments.
The Planning Assessment Commission granted concept approval for the development, which will transform with major degraded site and provide a significant economic and social stimulus to the Kirrawee centre and community.
